Regional Representatives Duties and Guidelines

Duties:

  1. Compile show information and photographs on your region's shows.
    1. Upon arrival at the show, check the show catalog for AHC members
    2. Introduce yourself to AHC members if they do not already know you and let them know where you are benched
    3. When possible, photograph finals made by AHC-member Himalayans, CPCs, Colorpoint Exotic, and CPC Exotics
    4. Arrange for a group photo of AHC attendees (preferably with their cats) during the show
    5. At the end of the show, photograph the Finals pages (kitten, championship, and premiership) in order to compile the AHC member finals
       
  2. Provide show information and photographs for inclusion in Cat Tracks by the submission deadline:
    1. Show reports should list cats and their wins. e.g., 7/25/2015 Tales and Tails, Anywhere, MO. GC, Xcats Someone, AB 2nd, AB 10th, SP Best (Moser). GP, Ycats Mypet, AB Best (Adkison), AB 3rd, AB 8th, AB 5th, SP 2nd, SP 2nd
    2. Be sure to label the photographs (date, cat name, member's last name) so that the editor can identify it
    3. If there is something significant about a certain show, by all means mention it
       
  3. Identify potential AHC members and solicit AHC membership.
    1. New exhibitors are our highest priority. We want to ensure that they are properly mentored and are provided with encouragement and positive reinforcement
       
  4. Foster an atmosphere of camaraderie (if possible) between the regional exhibitors.
    1. We are part of a large family. We encourage you to stay in touch with your region's exhibitors

1. What do I do if I can't attend a regional show?
Please delegate the show to another regional member who will be attending.

2. Do I report on all AHC member cats at my region's show or just my region's cats?
Please report all AHC member cats.

3. What are the deadlines for submission to Cat Tracks:
Winter: January 29th
Spring: April 15th
Summer: July 15th
Fall: October 15th
